Double Piping

This is wonderful on a neckline and is easily made in two steps.
Cut a bias strip of each colour and lay one on top of the other right sides together. The top piping colour is stitched first.

1. Lay the piping cord in the center of the fabric and flip the top strip over the cord. Sew with a zipper foot or piping foot close to the cord.
This will be the back of the finished piping.
2. Turn this over, lay a second cord in place, flip the fabric over the cord and sew again close to the cord.
The bottom colour is nice done in a wider cord.
